Whether your reception is an elegant affair at the top of the mountain at Telluride or Aspen or a small, casual gathering to celebrate your big day, Deja Blu is the perfect band for you. Your guests have come a long way to celebrate with you and my goal is to give you a night to remember filled with fun, laughter and a packed dance floor. All 5 members sing and with 2 lead singers (male & female), the vocal harmonies are impeccable. Deja Blu's music is a danceable mix of the very best of Classic Rock, Contemporary Rock, Motown, Soul, Blues & Swing with a kick of country. Our song list is extensive & covers 160 songs from over 5 DECADES OF MUSIC, from the 60's to today's current hits. We will gladly learn your special song if you do not find it on our current set list.

 

If you would like to add some "Sizzle & Soul" to the night, we can offer up the band as a 6 piece with Harold Lee on sax and additional vocals. Harald's smooth sounds were part of The Freddie Henchi band for decades. We are thrilled to have him with the Blu. Harald adds so much to our sound that only live horns can add!

From the 60's to today's current Top 40~ we can rock the house with a classic from The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Santana, Jefferson Airplane or a funky Motown tune. Looking for something more contemporary? From Jason Mraz, Peter Gabriel, Ben Harper, Adele, Pearl Jam, Bonnie Raitt and Norah Jones to Rascal Flatts, and Bon Jovi. Enjoy the 70's and 80's? - got you covered with The Bangles, Fleetwood Mac, John Mellencamp, Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Sheryl Crow and more! We know how to keep the dance floor filled the entire night. We can also provide you with cocktail/dinner sets filled with instrumental/light vocals and jazz.

 

Deja Blu is independently managed and we carry liability insurance. We are not an agency nor are we associated with any in town.   This allows to keep our rates reasonably priced because we don't have the overhead that agencies do. It gives us the freedom to work direcly with the couples and really get to know them. We have been performing for over 10 years playing numerous weddings, corporate events, private parties and summer festivals for crowds as intimate as 50 -all the way up to over 3,000 in attendance. The members of Deja Blu have played together for over 6 years. We do not play in any other bands, thus the musicianship and vocal harmonies are tight.
