What is your usual attire?
Full black tuxedo.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
In this day and age it's hard to imagine a song you can't come up with. We've always been able to provide all requested music.
How many other DJs do you work with?
I usually work alone as does Joe.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Typically a reception will be at least 3-4 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, we always recommend meeting in person to go over the details of the reception.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We now provide Destination Wedding DJ services in the Caribbean!
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes always. In addition, we always have back-up equipment on site.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have lighting available as well as karaoke.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I need about 30 minutes to set-up my equipment. I always call ahead to make sure the venue has a banquet table for me to use.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No special or extra space requirements.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I always emcee the reception and from time to time will talk between songs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do not require a meal.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Since there are no breaks the music is continuous.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, The Maine Disc Jockey Network and the National Association Of Mobile Entertainers would come to the rescue if needed.
What is your overtime rate?
$150 per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
The price quoted is all-inclusive.
