How do you identify your primary photographic style?
You can expect your wedding pictures to include a combination of traditional wedding portraiture, candid, and photojournalistic styles. However, the ultimate decision is up to you. My main objective is to capture your day your way!
Please describe any special techniques you offer:
I shoot completely on digital equipment now, and as such can offer color, black and white, sepia and everything in between for any shot.
Do you have a media preference?
I provide completely digital coverage.
How many photographers do you work with?
My husband and I shoot all weddings together and all of my packages guarantee 2 photographers for your wedding day.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
Although rare, I may book two weddings in a weekend, but I will never have more than one wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
In the event of an unforeseen catastrophe (personal health, serious injury, family emergency, etc.), I do have a list of local professional photographers who may be available to take my place. That would only happen under extreme circumstances, and I am proud to say that I have never missed a single wedding booking!
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My typical kit includes professional digital SLR (single-lens reflex) camera bodies, a variety of professional prime and zoom lenses, lighting, and my laptop.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I bring a minimum of two of each type of camera equipment. The various combinations of SLR bodies, lenses and lighting are completely interchangeable, should there be a component failure.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge for a full day via packages you can choose from on the website (www.daphnephotostudio.com).
If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
I am happy to stay if I need to. My overtime fee is $100/hour.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes. I charge $.75/mile for locations further than 25 miles from downtown Cincinnati.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Your proofs will be available for online viewing within 4 weeks of your wedding date.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
All of your proofs will be available in a password-protected online gallery where you can view your proofs and choose your favorite images. You also have the option to purchase loose proofs for $.45/ea if you prefer to have hard copies of your proofs.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, however CDs with a copyright release for personal use are included with all wedding packages.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
Yes. All wedding packages include a printable proof CD.
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes.
