Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
We offer private tastings,by appointment. Weekdays from 11 am to 6:30 pm Weekends can be arrange if needed.
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Our cakes are usually priced by the slice. In some instances, such as sculpted or unusual designs, we may charge by the degree of difficulty and time it takes to execute the desired effect.
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
Yes no charge for the top tier. Not included in servings needed, to be saved for 1st Anniversary if desired.
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
All our cakes are designed to your specifications. Frequently a bride will choose one she sees in our portfolio or brings a picture from a book or magazine she has found.
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
We use farm fresh eggs and butter as well as the finest flavorings and special fillings are made from scratch. Our cakes are made fresh for you, never frozen.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
Two to three days depending on the degree of difficulty of the design. Special gumpaste flowers are made well in advance.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
Usually not more than two. We do not wish to overcrowd the schedule. We always aim to achieve optimum results. Your cake will receive our utmost attention and care to assure you will be pleased with the results.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
Yes, but prfer the florist to prepare the flowers and leave them for me to apply, to avoid the possibility of contamination or accident happening to the cake.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
Silver cake plateaus in several sizes as well as some crystal plastic stands.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
If more than 15 miles from downtown Orlando, the delivery charges begin at $25.00, then depending upon distance.
