Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture? With our newly renovated Grand Ballroom, the Crowne Plaza Crystal City is the perfect place to celebrate your special day. Chandeliers illuminate a romantic glow and the classic decor creates an elegant ambiance.

How many people does the space *comfortably* accommodate? Comfortably with a dance floor, the Crowne Plaza can accomodate up to 200 guests in our Grand Ballroom. For a more intimate venue, our Alexandria Ballroom can accomodate up to 50 guests.

How does your venue determine the cost of the space? Typically the Crowne Plaza charges per guest.

Do you offer any special services? The Crowne Plaza offers an array of services ranging from upgraded beverage services, gourmet food selections, specialized butler service, and formal decor.

Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners? The Crowne Plaza will create a rehearsal dinner package based on your specialized needs.

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony? The Crowne Plaza has available white column pedistals and silver candelabras, which create a romantic feel for your ceremony.

Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware? The Crowne Plaza offers an array of upgraded linens, centerpieces, floral arrangements, lighting, and chairs for a nominal fee.

What is your staff-to-guest ratio? The Crowne Plaza will provide a banquet server for every 30 guests in addition to our banquet manager who is on site for your entire evening.

Do you require brides to use a specific list of vendors? The Crowne Plaza has a preferred vendor listing for you to review. These are our suggestsions, and are not required.

Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion? The Crowne Plaza has an variety of additional space to accomdate cocktail hour receptions, bridal party "holding space", photography and ceremony.

Do you provide your own catering? If yes, can a bride opt to use an outside caterer if she prefers? The Crowne Plaza provides full service catering and beverage service. We do allow outside caterers with the necessary documentation.

Do you have a liquor license? The Crowne Plaza does have a full liquor license.

Can the bride provide her own alcohol if desired? The Crowne Plaza abides to the ABC Regulations of the Commonwealth of Virginia in prohibiting outside beverages inside the hotel.

What restrictions are there (if any) on decorations? The Crowne Plaza allows you to provide your own decorations and flowers. All decorations must comply with local fire laws. No crepe paper or candles with an open flame can be used in the Hotel. Use of tacks, nails, or glue to hang banners, posters or decorations is prohibited.

What restrictions are there (if any) on music? The Crowne Plaza allows music to be enjoyed until midnight.

Does your venue often accommodate more than one wedding at a time? The Crowne Plaza will cater to one wedding at a time, providing you with utmost attention and service.

Can you provide a coat check? The Crowne Plaza is able to provide a coat check, upon request.

Describe your bathroom facilities: The Crowne Plaza has newly renovated bathroom facilities with close access from the Grand Ballroom.

Describe your parking facilities: The Crowne Plaza provides parking to guests in our parking garage, located underneath the hotel. Parking is complimentary to your guests.
