About
Crossing River Weddings isn't just a videography company we are Wedding Filmmakers. We don't simply capture your day, we capture it with a Creative Eye and a Cinematic Touch. We capture every special moment with out getting in the way of Your Day.

We Capture the Day, Capture the Moments, and Tell your Story.

Started by Doug Dibert, Jr. in January 2005. Doug brings a form of wedding cinematography that most wedding videographers simply can not duplicate. With a Bachelors degree in Film from the University of Toledo he has studied the art form of filmmaking and knows what it takes to artistically and cinematically tell a story.

Doug really has a passion to give Brides, and lets not forget Grooms, something they will cherish forever! Photography is a great art form to capture your day! But nothing compares to watching your day unfold before your eyes again and again! To see the Groom's reaction as his beautiful Bride walks down the isle. To hear the sound in each other voice as you say your vows and exchange your symbols of Love for each other. Those are just a few things pictures simply can not capture.

He has traveled all over from Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, to Chicago at the request of Brides and Grooms because they know they want the best. If your ready to book your day, please give us a call or write. Thank You so much for reading this and for checking us out! Hope to see you soon!

You will spend thousands of dollars on a dress, cake, candles, center pieces, flowers, gifts, a DJ, a reception hall, a limo, and photographs. Basically everything to make your wedding day perfect. When your BIG Day is over all you will have left to remember your day is pictures. Pictures are wonderful; however, ONLY a professional videography can capture the sights AND sounds of your wedding day. Pictures can't capture the sound in your voice as you speak your vows. Pictures can't capture all the special happenings you where unaware of as your day flew by. You deserve to relive the fun and excitement of your wedding day for many years to come. Can you just imagine sitting down with your grandchildren or on your 50th wedding anniversary to share your wedding video with your children, family, and friends? Looking back on the day you said "I Do!" Reflecting on the events that occurred. The smiles, kisses, songs, and speeches. Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. You not only deserve it...you owe it to your future children and grandchildren. You can show them just how important your wedding day is to you. Give us a call (419) 346-7979 and make sure you preserve a Family memory for years to come!

Endorsements
Doug is terrific as a person and a videographer. I am proud to call him a friend. I am more than confident to recommend him as a videographer for brides' weddings. He is not a get in your face kind of videographer and you don't even know he's there, capturing your every moment of your special day. He uses current music for your background music and is overall a true professional. I am more than happy to recommend Doug and Crossing River Weddings as a videographer for your wedding.

Frequently Asked Questions for Videography
Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
We are a business based out of the home for two reasons: 1. It keeps our cost down so we can keep our packages reasonable. 2. We feel it gives our business a warmer feeling than having it based in a office setting. On your special day, we want you to feel like your right at home with us!

Tips and Advice
Just a few tips and advice as you look and sort through other vendors to make your wedding day perfect!

1.  Check, check, then check again!  Make sure the person who you are hiring knows what there doing and show they can do it well.  Don't simply go with someone because they are the cheapest.  You do pay for what you get.

2.  Be aware of vendors that insist they get all their money upfront.  This not only leaves you at that their will, it make take them forever to get the product you paid for.

3.  Ask for referals.  For example, when speaking with your event coordiator at your reception site, ask them about a cake person.  Then ask the cake person about another service to recommend!
