Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Yes, we approriately light an event from a small ON-CAMERA light. Nothing obstrusive yet enough light to make your video crystal clear. High Deifnition films look spectacular!
How many videographers do you work with?
Just the two of us at every wedding we film. We occasionally hire a third Videographer when the client requests a third HD camera for the day. Our third videographer also happens to be our editor.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Of course! We encourage all our clients to meet with us since we are a husband and wife team. We do not outsource any filming work at all. We even enjoy helping you plan your wedding and answering any questions you might have since we went through the process ourselves only a year ago.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely! We would never, ever book more than one wedding on your wedding day. We will not only be there but we will help to make your day go smooth and keep it fun for you.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No! We will book more than one wedding in a weekend but no more than ONE on any given day. We are exclusively yours for the day with no time limits. We meet you in the morning and end our day when your guests start to go home at the end of the reception.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Michelle and I are your videographers. If for some reason we cannot make your wedding (it has never happened) we will make every effort to find a replacement or return all your money. It's even in our contract to protect you.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We film your wedding with Professional High Definition Cameras, wireless microphones, high quality digital equipment and the newest video technology. We also employ the use of a Glidecam which makes our wedding films look very much like a movie. We can walk, run, go up and down stairs right along with you and the camera looks like it is just floating in the air around you. No shaky pictures at all. We always invest in the newest technology every year so we are guaranteed to have the very best equipment the industry offers.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course we do. We always travel with a minimum of 4 cameras and lots of batteries. Including back up wireless microphones and back up equipment.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Very few! We work continuously throughout the day to make sure we capture your event and not miss a single moment. Small cherished moments are often captured during the down times and we are there to film them. We often take a short break during meal times at your reception but even then we are always on standby in case anything occurs we should be capturing for you.
Do you charge overtime?
No Way! We are yours for the entire day. We have no time limits attached to our wedding films. When you hire Creative Video Editing, we will begin our day during your preparations and end it when your guests are going home at the end of your reception.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Raw footage is available to our clients upon request.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
We showcase our footage on our website and other places to advertise our services. If you prefer we not include your footage in our marketing, we would gladly keep it private for you.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
We pride ourselves on custom films. We ask many questions to know exactly what type of film you are looking for plus we ask you to supply us with lists of music you like too. All this combined with our signature style proves to be a winning combination! If our brides require minor changes in their final edited film, we would absolutely do it.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Our films are highly edited and take 25+ hours to complete. Generally your final film will be delivered to you within 2 months, but sometimes will take longer during very busy times of the year. We have delivered films to our clients within 2-3 weeks but it all depends on how busy we are. EVERY film will get a FREE movie trailer of their wedding day posted online within ONE WEEK of their wedding day too! Usually while you are on your Honeymoone! All our final films are delivered in a beautiful leather folio as well.
