Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I specialize in the 'hand coloring' look with weddings. I also specialize in the story board style of 'showing' your day!
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have shot in all kinds of lighting, I have experience in darker churches where the norm is NOT to allow flash. In these instances you can still acquire the unique look you are looking for in your portraits.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot completely digital and carry a back up set of equipment in case of equipment failure. I bring with me an Umbrella light set up for indoor formal shots. I shoot with a Pentax K10d
How many photographers do you work with?
I shoot with one assistant per wedding, I do have several assistants in my studio. I am the primary shooter for weddings. Having an assistant to second shoot insures that I miss nothing during your day!
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I do guarantee that I will be there. Unless of Death or exteme illness, to which I would call and provide a suitable replacement. In 20+ years I have not had to use this part of my contract!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Not in one day but I have shot a wedding on Friday night and then again on a Saturday!
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I have several assistants that I would send if the need arised.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
My camera, with extra body, several lens, for wide angle and zoom. External flash with several types of diffusers, and an umbrella light set up for the formals in the front of the church. Spare batteries and light bulbs, just in case. I sometimes bring props (such as a frame, special chair or the like) My laptop to show you a slideshow at the reception of the wedding ceremony.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course, I have a compatible body and lens, as well as flash, batteries and bulbs to every wedding. Not to mention my sewing kit, including 5 pairs of black socks for those Groomsmen that forget!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Both, my packages are listed on my website, and my hourly rate is $100 an hour with a 5 hour minimum (this option is shoot and burn, with an option to purchase prints from me)
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Overtime is available for the same fee of $100 an hour
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Just for the normal bathroom breaks!
Do you charge for travel?
Yes I do have extra charges for more than 30 miles away from my studio's base.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Give me about two weeks to get them up and online. You will be provided with a card in your card box at the reception with your password on it. Your proofs are private and accessible only with this password, if you choose to give the password to family and friends, please feel free to do so!
In what format are the initial proofs offered?

How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proofs are online, for example, if you choose Package one that includes 150 proofs you will choose your 150 proofs from the online proofs!
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain the right to use the photos in advertising, contests and website use.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I provide a low resolution disc of the photos not chosen as proofs.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer about all that is out there, I will be discussing with you what it is you are interested in and will show you samples within your budget. The albums are an extra, available with any package, but not included to keep the costs reasonable.
When will the client get the final album?
Depending on the amount of pages you choose, it can be anywhere from a month to 6 weeks.
