Tips and Advice
Since Photography is a visual product, it is highly recommended to actually go see it in person. Ask to see real albums of complete weddings, not just random samples from many different weddings. Anyone can get one good photo, but getting them consistently all day long takes experience. When you meet in person you can also gauge the photographer's personality during the meeting to see if you are a good match. The photographer is the one vendor that you will have the most interaction with on your wedding day, so it's important to be comfortable with them. I always attend the rehearsal, and most of the time the rehearsal dinner. By the next day, the wedding party and other key players are already comfortable with me being around and are more relaxed, and that shows in the photos.
