I try doing different things all the time, yes I do offer sepia, black and white but I also like doing unique things for instance printing on watercolor paper or making wax photos things that are different excite me.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I am familiar with all kinds of lighting but I love photographing outdoors the best around the evening time because of the low shadows and the beautiful color of the evening.
Is your media preference film or digital?
All though I love film and have worked with it many years, I shoot primarily digital when I shoot professionally.
How many photographers do you work with?
I ususally take a second shooter to every wedding I shoot. If its a small wedding of 4hrs or less then I just brint an assistant with me.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, I am at every wedding and portrait event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No I think that is wrong.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I use to Nikon cameras and a variety of lenses for the effects I need. I also brint two flashes.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Either.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I charge $100 per hour overtime.
Do you charge for travel?
If it is over 60miles from where I am from.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
3-4 weeks
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
You are able to view your proofs on a website with a protected password.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes because I like to use some of them for competitions or display purposes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If clients choose to purchase the digital files.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes that is how they are proofed.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I have a variety of different album companies that I use but the one that I use most of is a leatherette type album by Tuscany.
When will the client get the final album?
This is a long process because I make up album design according to what the client selects then I post it on my website as a slide show for approval. As soon as it is apporved then the album gets ordered. So the whole process takes about 2-3months.
