Planning Your Theme Wedding Transportation

Now that you are getting married, do you want a traditional wedding or a theme wedding? What is a theme wedding?
It is often a combination of traditional and non-traditional features and activities planned throughout the wedding day.

There is absolutely nothing more memorable than a unique theme wedding. Brides and grooms are looking for ways
to make their wedding day both special and unique. This desire has created a boom in “Theme Weddings”.
How do we know this? Our company, Classy Transportation specializes in helping couples pull off their unique theme wedding
by providing the most unique and rare vintage wedding cars available.

Often when brides call us, they first would like to know some of the services we have performed and to pick our brain
about unique weddings we have done in the past. As a result, we have created several wedding transportation packages
to help give the bride, groom and their guests that unique wedding day experience.

For example, one of our favorite requests is of course the “Bride Package”. The bride is transported to the wedding venue in
a very rare and stylish white Excalibur Convertible with V.I.P. flags flying on the front of the vehicle. The chauffeur rolls out a red
carpet runner for the bride, puts on white gloves to carry the bride’s train and pops out a white umbrella to protect the bride from
the sun as she makes her way inside the wedding venue and prepares for her grand entrance. The wedding car is then converted
from a convertible to a half-top carriage for the wedding get-away. The bride and groom zooms away from the wedding venue
with “Just Married” flags flying on the front of the vehicle. During this entire process lots of photographs and video footage are taken of the grand entry and exit alone. At this point, the guests are completely blown away with the entire process, as they have never seen anything quite like it before.

At the reception site, there is lots of buzz going around about the cool car and the service performed by the chauffeur. Which makes for great conversation before the real festivities begin. As the evening comes to an end and it’s time for the couple to make their exit, a classic Rolls Royce drives up with red carpet rolled out and takes the couple off to their honeymoon suite. As the couple arrives at their hotel, what started out as a tense, hectic day, ends as a fun and relaxing time that was truly enjoyable. And this is just one wedding package! The combination and creation of unique packages are numerous.

When considering transportation for your theme wedding, there are several options available to choose from. Keep in mind, availability for all of these options are limited, so reservations several months in advance is not unusual.

Option #1: The Horse Drawn Carriage – This option brings out the Cinderella feeling and gives a romantic nineteenth century feeling to the wedding ceremony, when people were transported by horse drawn wagons, coaches, and carriages.

Option #2: The Vintage Automobile – This option allows the couple to take a step back in time of the early days of automobiles, when automobiles had lot of character and styling.

Option #3: The Classic Automobile – This option allows the couple to experience a time and mode of transportation their parents and grandparents experienced. When the automobile was king and personal transportation unique and distinctive.

Of course, there are the traditional limousines, but save that for your bridal party. One bride even rented a trolley bus for the bridal party. A very nice added touch!
