Christine Young is a professional violinist, vocalist, and songwriter based on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  She has been performing at weddings as a violinist for over 15 years, having performed over 500 total.  Classically trained, Christine attended the prestigious Peabody Conservatory before earning her BMus degree in performance from the Univeristy of Maryland College Park.  Her solo repertoire includes a wide variety of classical favorites, jazz standards, celtic and bluegrass fiddle tunes, and interpretations of numerous contemporary pop, rock, and country songs.  She also regularly performs in an acoustic indie rock duo with renowned guitarist Scott Franson as well as a variety of other ensembles.  Wedding packages including DJ services, full wedding planning, and more are available at great affordable rates.
