Cheryl earned her Master Floral Designer certification in 2004 from Florida State Florists Associaiton and won the title of 2008 Designer of the Year from the Central Florida Florists Association. The competition for Designer of the Year on a State level earned her third place for 2009. She has competed and won Master Designer Tabletop Design compeitition for the past two years while attending State Convention.

Cheryl's Distinctive Creations was named 2010 Best Wedding Vendor by The Knot,  Top 5 Florists in Central Florida by WESH-TV2 and CW18 in 2008. Recipients of an ISES Esprit Award for Best Team Effort budget over $25,000 in 2004. Cheryl and her team have been a part of numerous award winning event teams and are highly sought after by the most prestigious clientele in the country.
