First and foremost, when you hire us, you always get Chef Kathi. We combine our desire for flavor with our design degree to create a unique look of elegance when the occasion calls for it and fun when our client’s desires run in that direction.  At Hawaii Private Chef, we think outside the box. We are not a restaurant and that is not something we bring to the table. We are designers who bring food and flair to every event and party.

Chef Kathi’s philosophy is simple: “I would not want chaffing dishes at my wedding why would I do that at yours?” Not every wedding is a buffet, but every guest deserves and expects fantastic, memorable food and service.  We pride ourselves on creating hot dishes on location. We are a boutique wedding resource. We love to work with couples who want to showcase the food along with flowers and everything that goes on the table: linens, flatware, dinnerware, etc. As a former designer of table linens and dinnerware herself, Chef Kathi can create a unique look for your very special day; as well as work with other vendors to achieve your vision.

We tailor all our menus to our brides’ and grooms’ tastes. Nothing we do comes from a list. We listen to your desires and dreams and start from there.
