International Festival, LaFiestaBand.com one of the premiere wedding/party bands in the New York - New Jersey & Connecticut Tri-State area, is a 5 to 25 piece "high energy" act featuring 5 amazing lead vocalists, (two male & three Female Vocalists), guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, horns, congas, and timbales. plus all musicians sing background vocals.

International Festival is a set rehearsed group of talented, young and experienced musicians and vocalists; who have travelled the world over playing music for hotels in Dubai United Arab Emirates, hotel chains in Eilat Israel and Royal Family weddings. International Festival  has also opened, toured and performed with many renowned artists,  has  been featured on television and radio shows, performed at celebrity weddings both internationally and domestically as well as thousands of weddings, hundreds of Bar/Bat Mitzvahs  and many, many corporate events.

The ideal space is 24 x 12 but we have managed with a lot less.

We never use signs or banners, we are at your wedding to play for you not to push our services onto your guests. Its always about the Bride and Groom with us.
 
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes we do offer all the usual extras by request and sometimes even the unusual.
 
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
We always MC all our receptions and keep the talking between songs to a minimum.
 
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We change the music if necessary and we go out into the audience and bring them out to the dance floor.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Yes we require a meal break and yes we request meals to be provided.
 
Do you play recorded music during your break?
Never, unless requested by the Bridal party. We always have a live pianist or guitarist with or without a vocalist during breaks.
 
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
We have many fill-in musicians who have played with us for years who can stand in for any of our members.
 
What is your overtime rate?
The overtime rate is equal to 1/3 the booking price per hour. Example if the booking price is $100 then the overtime price would be $33 per hour.
 
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We do when it requires a considerable distance but its not an exaggerated amount. However if we are flying we do require our airfares and hotels to be covered.
 
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
Usually 25 to 50 percent.

Tips and Advice
My first tip is to make sure someone else is there to help you along the way that's why we recommend that the first vendor you book is an experienced wedding/event planner. There are many listed on our vendors we know section, chances are we know a good one in your area.

Be sure to book early no matter what vendor you are booking with.

The popular ones are always booked about a year in advance so to be sure the band or vendor of your choice is available.

Don't be afraid to ask for references and whatever you agree upon make sure you get it in writing.
