Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you for your interest in Pasadena’s premier special events venue! In booking with The Castle Green, you will have chosen one of the most majestic historical landmarks of Pasadena to hold your event. We are happy to provide you with all the information needed to help you through planning process.
Attached is some information for your review, and I would like to schedule an appointment for you to view our beautiful venue. Our office hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 10am-4pm (Saturdays from 10am-2pm for tours). Please call us with a time and date that will work for you.
Here are some of the things that you might want to know about the enchanting Castle Green and how it will help create an unforgettable occasion for you and your guests.


EVENT RATES FOR 2010
Prices below are for a ten (10) hour time period; Three and a half (3½) hours for set-up & photos, five and a half (5 ½) hours for event, and one (1) hour for clean-up (vendors ONLY).
Friday $4,250 until 11:30pm
Saturday $5,950 until 11:30pm
Sunday $4,500 until 10:00pm
Weekdays $2,750 until 10:00pm
December Weekdays $3,200 until 10:00pm

*Please add $500 to all events held on an exact holiday
*Prices do not change if hosting a “reception only” or cocktail party. Please contact our event staff regarding “Ceremony Only” events, which start at $1500.00 and may only take place on specific days.

EXTRA TIME: 10% of rental fee (to be extended in the early portion only)
“Late Night” Time Extension details...
For Fridays and Saturdays, add $650 for 12am extension, add $2,000 for 1am.
Sunday through Thursdays, add $650 for 11pm extension and $1600 for 12am

RESERVING CASTLE GREEN
In order to reserve your date with Castle Green, half of the location fee and a $1000 refundable security deposit are required, along with a signed contract.
The forms of payment accepted at this time are personal check, cashier’s check, credit card or money order.

QUICK FACTS REGARDING CASTLE GREEN:

1. MAX CAPACITY: 220 ballroom (sit down dinner or buffet), 300 standing, 400 with approval (extra fees apply)
2. Air Conditioning: AC will be provided for summer months in the ballroom
3. Children: If more than 7 children are attending event, please be sure to notify our staff
4. Outside Catering is allowed with additional fee (or we have four to choose from at no additional cost)
5. Castle Green offers the entire ground floor – not just the ballroom!
6. Our catering fees range from $50-$150 / person (for FULL CATERED PACKAGES, not just food)




Exciting things Castle Green provides for your special event:

* We have four exclusive caterers that you may choose from; Castle Catering, The Ultimate Affaire, and Simply Elegant Catering, whom offer low to moderate priced menu options -- and Dickenson West who offers high end menu options. If you have specific and /or traditional food requirements, our office may arrange for a $10/person fee upon approval of this “outside” caterer. (Please contact our event department for further information).

Host may bring in an outside caterer, upon approval, for $10/person in their event (max. $2000.00).


* Castle Green allows you to bring in all your own alcohol which not only saves you a ton of money, but allows you to have the freedom to select your favorites! Your caterer can be your bartender as well as deliver your alcohol on and off site, if applicable. Castle Green will provide two bars at no additional fee.

* We give you TEN full hours, (3 ½ are reserved for set-up, 5 ½ reserved for actual event time, and an averaged 1 hour for clean-up at the end of your event.)

* Stunning, chiavari chairs and ivory cushions will be provided for up to 200 people, as well as twenty (20), 60” inch round tables (for indoor use only or covered patio).

* There are no minimums.

* Castle Green provides three (3) grand pianos (one in each area of our grounds), a 50” inch screen TV (not to mention smaller televisions for children’s rooms) for use of video presentations, slideshow, etc.. -- as well as a dramatically designed fireplace for your use.

* Hosts will have access to the entire ground floor, giving both outdoor and indoor experiences, and plenty of room to explore.

• Though we are a historic building, air conditioning will be provided throughout the peak summer months.

It would be our pleasure to take you on a site tour of the Castle Green so you may see its splendor in person. Our office hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Tours may be arranged any time during these hours as long as no event is taking place. You may also see photos of the facilities on our web site at www.castlegreen.com.
