Carl House Wedding Trends and Tips

The contemporary bride hopes to create the wedding of her dreams while being responsible with her finances.  There are many creative ways to ease the pressure on your funds while experiencing the wedding you have always envisioned.  It can be accomplished, and Carl House is here to help!

Rather than including the traditional RSVP card, an envelope, and first class postage for your guests to RSVP for your wedding, consider instead an elegant, ready-to-mail postcard as your RSVP card.  This small change will result in a savings of $.15 per invitation in postage alone!  Also, the elimination of the additional envelope makes this choice an environmentally friendly one!

Decide what your priorities for your wedding are, and plan your finances accordingly.  If your heart sinks at the thought of settling for that less than perfect dress, plan for the expense of the dress you've always dreamed of while minimizing costs on other items for your wedding day which aren't as much of a priority.

Discuss with your wedding and reception venue some of the ways they might help you trim expenses!  Ask your venue if they have centerpieces available to rent for your reception tables.  The rented centerpieces will add the air of class you expect for your wedding at a fraction of the cost of fresh floral centerpieces.You might also connect with another bride whose wedding is just before or just after yours through your wedding and reception venue about sharing the cost of flowers which can be used for both weddings!
