Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
We offer complimentary, private tastings for couples. A consultation and tasting typically will run 45 mins. to an hour. Couples are welcome to bring a friend or family member to participate.
What are your tasting hours?
We are available Monday-Saturday for consultations and tastings. It is best to call and inquire about available times.
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Our cakes are priced per serving/person depending on the cake flavor and filling you select. Pricing on design and delivery will vary depending on your design and where your reception takes place.
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
Yes, the price does include the top-tier of the cake. All couples that meet with a bridal consultant for a 3-tier or larger wedding cake will receive a complimentary first year anniversary cake. No need to freeze your top tier!
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
We are creators of custom designed cakes and we specialize in custom designed wedding cakes. Please bring in your ideas, colors, designs etc. It is our job to create your dream wedding cake! Alternatively, we do have a very extensive portfolio of images to select from.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
Cakes are prepared 24-48 hours in advance. The cakes are always baked fresh, wrapped, and stored properly for freshness.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
This really depends on the season. In our busy season, probably anywhere from 15-20 a weekend. We do approximately 700 wedding cakes a year.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
We ask couples to coordinate any fresh flowers they may want on their wedding cake with their florist, but we wil call their florist the week of their wedding to confirm our deliver time of the wedding cake so the florist can be there to decorate the cake with the fresh flowers.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
We do rent out cupcake stands for those interested in a cupcake wedding tier.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Yes, we offer delivery on 3-tier or larger wedding cakes. We deliver wedding cakes in the Greater Boston, North Shore, and Southern New Hampshire areas. Please call for details on a delivery fee.
