Bredenbeck’s Bakery is a full line sweet bakery that has been in the Philadelphia area since 1889. Our staff takes pride creating everything from scratch, using only the finest, top quality ingredients. Bredenbeck’s comes form a long tradition of fine bakeries in Philadelphia. Karen Boyd opened the bakery in Chestnut Hill in 1983, and has been running a successful business ever since. Karen has made every effort to retain the traditional techniques of a scratch bakery while keeping a keen eye on the changing market.
