Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
We will gladly learn songs we do not know, provided we are given ample time before the event:
The client provide us with the songs on a CD along with the sheet music. The client pays for the rehearsal needed to learn the requested songs. NOTE: We know a lot of songs so in some cases a rehearsal may not be needed!
How much time do you usually need for setup?
We prefer to arrive at all of our events at least two hours prior to the event start time.
In some cases we may want to arrive 2.5 to 3.0 hours proir to the event start time to ensure all goes smoothly with ease!
How much space do you usually require?
We generally require an area about 15 ft. long by 12 ft. deep.
Stage height to be about 12 inches.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No, not at this time.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
We will gladly emcee your reception!
We do not do much talking between songs.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Our experiences have trained us to read the audience to ensure we are performing the songs they want to hear.
We are constantly reading the audience as to avoid dead zones on the dance floor! Other motivation would be the Soul Train Line. Extending the length of a song or running two or three songs together will prevent dead zones.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
It is very important to us to keep the party going strong! ...We generally like to take a 15 minute break after each 45 minutes of performance.
However we usually break after 60 to seventy-five minutes of performance. We prefer that the client provide meals for the band.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
We gladly play recorded music during breaks.
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
We have excellent professional backup musicians (available as needed) to ensure your event goes as planned.
What is your overtime rate?
We can provide rates during the appointment and the overtime rate is writen into the contract
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
In some cases we may charge for travel. It is on a case by case bases. We can provide information during the appointment.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We require a 50% deposit to secure your event date. We are willing to work with you on a case by case bases should you not be able to meet this requirement. The balance is due in full on the day of the event.

I wish that more Brides, Wedding Planners, Meeting & Event planners, Festival Organizers, and public & private Organizations knew the quality of our music and service. I wish they knew that most of the time we are 20 to 30% less expensive than our competitors. I wish they knew that in many cases you can hire us to perform for your event for just a few dollars more than the cost of the best DJ! I wish they knew how hard we work for each and every one of them! If they knew all of this, they wouldn't be so stressed out running around to other vendors, only to come back to us! |
