What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
Our "Simply Everything Package" provides a lightly edited video plus a twenty-minute highlights edit, both based on two cameras for the ceremony and one for the reception. Our clients have uniformly praised our conservative use of special effects (we don't do "cheesy").
Describe any special editing services you offer:
Our signature service is that we include in our package a three-minute streaming web montage of our clients' big day within 24 hours. Attendees and those who couldn't be there can see the highlights, usually by dinner the day after the wedding.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Yes. Although we almost never use lighting during the ceremony (our principal camera is a very strong low-light performer), we always have our light ready for the reception.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
We are always happy to meet with our clients before the ceremony, although we've probably done just as many weddings without meeting our clients beforehand.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We never book for more than one wedding per day and book for more than one wedding in a weekend under restricted circumstances (eg, the second event cannot begin within twelve hours of the end of the first event).
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We come to every event with at least three cameras.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
To date, the natural breaks during a wedding (between the ceremony and reception and during the meal service) have been sufficient.
Do you charge overtime?
Our package includes UNLIMITED coverage from one hour prior to the ceremony until after the end of the last dance or departure from the reception. Additional time prior to the ceremony would incur an additional charge.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Raw footage is available for an additional charge.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
Yes, we do. We're very proud of the quality of our work and need to be able to show it to future clients to give a sense for our style, etc.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
We typically deliver our videos within twelve weeks (usually a good bit less), but can also work to meet particular client needs.
