Frequently Asked Questions
How would you identify your photographic style?
My style is fun, romantic, glamorous and fabulous! I want to make brides feel comfortable with me so that I can both capture moments as they happen as well as give suggestions on how to make a moment unfold in the most photogenic manner!
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
All of my images are retouched by hand. I do color, black and white and sepia depending on the photo. I have a vision for each photo that I edit. When ordering final prints, brides can see each photo in color black and white or sepia.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I'm very comfortable and confident in most lighting situations. I have an assistant carry my flash remotely so that the light is always great no matter where I'm shooting from.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
Myself and an assistant.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Unless there is an emergency, yes!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend?
Nope!
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
Absolutely
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
I do love food, I'm not gonna lie! Generally wedding days span two meals so yes, I do need food or I turn into a pumpkin =)
Do you charge for travel?
I will put together a package for a destination wedding that includes my travel costs.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Generally within a few days of the wedding I will post 10-15 images from the wedding on my blog, and within 3-4 weeks the entire wedding will be ready to view on your personal online ordering and viewing gallery.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
I provide lo-res digital images for use on Facebook etc. Couples may choose to purchase hi-res digital images after they have ordered prints for an additional fee.
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes
When will I get the final book?
When you make final changes to the design I will order it immediately, after that it takes between 8-10 weeks for the production and delivery.

Tips and Advice
How to Dress for an Engagement Session! For engagement photos, I suggest picking one to two colors. You could both wear different shades of the same color, or pick two colors or color schemes the contrast with each other. You could wear a jean skirt, cream top, brown wooden jewelry and cowboy boots and your fiancee could wear jeans, a brown t-shirt and flip flops. Or if you're feeling really daring, don't match at all - instead wear contrasting colors that look good next to each other! Either way, just make sure you feel great! {Girls} Do's -Do layer. A solid color jacket over a patterned top with jeans and heels is fun. -Do mix and match, put dressy skirts with tank tops, fancy shoes with jean skirts, or boots with nice dresses. -Do bring bold chunky jewelry and earrings. The right amount of jewelry really gives your outfit the finishing touches. -Do bring your funky shoes. Leopard, red, yellow, blue - bold shoes can give your photos great personality! -Do bring a good mix of dressy and casual clothes. -Do bring at least one classic outfit. I love edgy clothes but chances are in ten years fashions will have changed. But remember that classic doesn't have to mean boring. A little black dress with a long string of pears and red heels and red lips is classic and sassy. Don't's -Don't wear a tube top. It just doesn't look as cute in photos -Don't wear sparkly makeup or lotion -Don't wear the same thing as your fiancee -Don't be afraid of color! -Don't forget to floss your teeth {Guys} Do's -Do layer. A collared shirt with a loose tie and a sweater over it with jeans or a blazer over a t-shirt with jeans and flip flops looks great. -Do wear cool shoes like Diesels, Ranbows, or boots. -Do be relaxed, that's the best way to look good in pictures. Don't's -Don't wear a hat unless it is part of the look you want in your pictures -Don't wear shorts -Don't wear plaid or flannel or flannel plaid -Don't forget to floss your teeth
