About

Our style is engaged, intimate, candid journalism. After twenty years we still take what we do personally, and do everything possible to make sure that you have the best experience of your wedding. Our approach is to catch the moments of expression that occur naturally when you are engaged with your partner and those whom you have invited to witness and support your lifelong commitment. This can’t be set up or faked. What we want to accomplish with our photography is for you to be present to your relationship and love for each other and for your family and friends.

Then, we design the album with you, coming from our experience of your event that we were privileged to share. Like a violinmaker with his craft, we can’t delegate this to anyone else. The connection with you results in a creation that comes out of our relationship and not a formula.

We love what we do, and feel our approach is a natural expression of our commitment to contribute and be of service.

Tips and Advice
Tips... well it is your day so don’t take any stuff from your vendors. If you want something ask, be firm, don’t ever put up with "well it is just not done" or "the pictures just take that long" This is a day that you should be being moved, feeling lucky, having fun, and being loved. You don’t need to spend a long time to have what most people really want which is a great images, artisticly done, that catch you being yourself with the people who are closest to you. If you are spending more than an hour staring down a camera someone is trying to make a still life of you.You know, bride as object not subject. This is not a bad idea with flowers but humans are animated beings and the images should reflect that. Well that is my two cents, good luck on your planning and by all means, have fun!
