Hi there! We are Joan and Jon and we are BellowBlue.  

 

We are a husband and wife team that has been in the photography industry since the completion of our bachelors degrees in 2005.  As Cinema and Photography graduates, Jon and I have a unique style that is creative and we love to push the boundaries of photography.  We hire no outside help for photo editing and photograph with no assistants.  In order to keep this high level of quality in our work, we only photograph a limited number of weddings.  We’re believers in living your passion and are grateful for the opportunities to do just that.  I met Jon while  attending Southern Illinois University and we moved to Philadelphia after graduating.  Living in Philadelphia for three years was an amazing experience but our love for the midwest brought us back.  We are now happy to call Madison, Wisconsin home.  Jon and I are so happy to be working side by side and feel we complement each other creatively.
