Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I have been known to have the Jedi equivalent of Photoshop skills.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Any. A true pro can master any light.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital, but I have many years of using that funny, smelly stuff rolled up in a can.
How many photographers do you work with?
Me, myself and I. We take turns.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Unless God has something to do with it, yes.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
One wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I know many, but even better, I am insured through PPA. The best you can get. If something happens to me, PPA has a plan for that and it concerns you. Ask me and I will tell you.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Everything. Except my computer.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
You're not a pro if you don't. If anyone shows up with one camera and a flash, run the other way.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Hourly.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
You pay, I play. Just be respectful and understand I gotta go home at some point... unless you want to pack me in your overhead and take me on the honeymoon. Exceptions will be made.
Do you charge for travel?
In the greater Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area, no. Anywhere else is quoted on a per event basis.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Right now, 6-8 weeks - Fall 09, 4 week turnaround.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Web gallery.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS MAINTAIN COPYRIGHT - or else we could never use your image on our websites or promotional materials. I however, do give PRINT RIGHTS to those who purchase DVD's.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Always, see question above.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If it is included in a package or they purchase them.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Magazine style and Art book style.
When will the client get the final album?
When you get your proofing completed and it is uploaded to the printer.
