Since 1997, The Baltimore Area Disc Jockey Association (BADJA) has been setting the standard in the mobile entertainment industry. Unlike other DJ associations, our members are accepted only after a BADJA Board Member has attended one of their events and personally recommends the applicant for membership. Our members receive monthly industry seminars to stay on top of the latest in equipment and trends. Hiring a BADJA disc jockey is your guaranteed way to secure a professional, ethical, and personable entertainer at your event.
For DJs: Join a community of your peers and provide your clients the peace of mind of a "safety net" of 30 professional entertainers behind you in case of an emergency or illness. Network with the area's top wedding, mitzvah, and corporate entertainers while gaining valuable skills at our monthy seminar dinners. Indiviual DJ memberships are just $140/year. All DJs are reviewed at one performance and a minimum of three recent verifiable clients are also required as part of the organization's approval process. Professional DJ equipment and back up equipment is required for all members.
For Wedding Industry Professionals: Preferred Vendor memberships are also available for BADJA sponsors, a one year membership is just $100 and entitles you to placement on the BADJA website and social networking website pages with link-backs to your business. Your business also appears on our industry marketing materials (recent example: oversized postcards at an area wedding show) that are distributed to potential clients. Preferred Vendors may also email business specials and networking information to our member list and may make presentations (to be coordinated with the Program Chair) at our monthly general meetings.
