Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
I treat each event as a one time shot. I use turntables to create a blend of songs from your play list. Making smooth transitions rather than bringing everything to a screeching halt.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
no, only time limits the amount of music that can be chosen.
What is your usual attire?
I usually wear a suit and tie. Unless specified business "casual"
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No, we pay for any additional music. Unless it is so obscure that it has to be provided to attain it.
How many other DJs do you work with?
I have several in my network, but ATX DJ is a one man operation.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
ALWAYS!!!
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
I do not specialize in ethnic events, but I have experience in many different ethnic weddings.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
It is one of the only things that we require. I would rather have more on the DO NOT PLAY list than your play list!
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, and BACK UP EQUIPMENT!!!
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We offer free professional dance floor lighting.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We arrive 2 hours early and it takes about 45 minutes to set up. We DO PREFER to have a 6 foot table provided for us.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
We do take up some room. About 12 feet in width with our speakers and table.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
NO!!!
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes usually, I have years experience emceeing in an unobtrusive manner.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
I would play different types of music and see if I could get them to do any of the group participation songs that the client has chosen.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No meal is required, but always appreciated. There is never a break in the music.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
YES
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a network of DJ friends that I put on standby each weekend that I have events.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
NO
What is your overtime rate?
