About The Association of Bridal Consultants
The Association of Bridal Consultants, founded in 1981, is a unique organization. As a member, you will receive a variety of services and benefits from the only international professional organization designed exclusively to serve wedding professionals. Association members represent the entire scope of wedding-related businesses, from large corporations to individuals just starting their business.
Among many benefits members enjoy: the newsletter ABC Dialogue, published six times a year; access to the Association for answers to any wedding or wedding business-related questions; access to the Associationís staff experts, Director of Education, Director of Ethnic Diversity, Director of Corporate Relations, Financial Consultant, General Counsel (legal); annual international conference; seminars throughout the country throughout the year.
Headquartered in New Milford, Connecticut, with over 5000 members in 25 countries, the ABC is at once both local and international. To maintain local contact with members, state coordinators represent the Association in those states with large memberships.
Access Our Buying Power
Even if you do not wish to plan weddings full-time, you can still join ABC and access our Corporate Sponsor programs, and our volume discounts.
Let’s say you specialize in catering, or music, or accessories, you may still wish to access our invitation programs to announce your services. Or you might review your current liability coverage or health care coverage using the links on the ABC home page. These ABC member programs can provide excellent coverage at a very fair price.
Or perhaps you wish to advertise your service in our co-op advertising program, where members go in together and split the cost of ads, getting a much bigger ad than they could get on their own.
The possibilities are endless.
