Asian American Wedding Professionals Association (AAWPA) was formed in March 2010. Our main objectives are:

(1)    Provide wedding professionals a variety of opportunities and industry updates for professional development through the sharing of business expertise, education topics and networking.

(2)    Raise awareness of the Association and its standards for members among potential brides and grooms.

(3)    Equip wedding consultant graduates with the knowledge and confidence necessary to enter and excel in the challenging and rewarding field of wedding consulting.

We also have advanced classes for people who are already in the wedding industry to enhance their marketing and management skills.

Our networking mixer is an excellent vehicle for wedding service providers to get referrals and promote your services among others. Brides and grooms may also participate interviewing a wide selection of wedding professionals at our events.

Every quarter, AAWPA gathers top Asian American wedding professionals and coordinates a Bridal Retreat. Brides-to-be can enjoy a great weekend with us, learning all the new trends of wedding designs, cooking, skin care, fashion, massage, etc.
