Artistic Edition hair snaps are very versatile and can be placed pretty much anywhere in your hair. They lie flush against your hair unlike spring type hair accessories, and offer a wider range of placement options than traditional hair pins and barrettes. Hair can be up, down, curly or straight it doesn't matter with these hair snaps. They are really easy to use too. If you can work snaps on a shirt you can put these little babes in your hair.

QUESTION: I’ve never heard of hair snaps. How do they work?
ANSWER: My hair snaps work much like how clothing snaps do, but with hair in between.

My hair snaps come with 2 pieces: a crystal top and a snap back.

How you put them in your hair:
1. Style hair as desired. I recommend that you use a little hair spray and/or styling products for extra security.

2. Pull the hair snap apart into two pieces.

3. Once you have decided where you would like the snap placed, slide the snap back under hair and then take the crystal top and snap it to the back.

4. The snap should hold onto the hair securely until you are ready to take it out.

5. To take them out, just pull the top and bottom apart or pull them out by sliding them down your hair.


QUESTION: What type of hair will these snaps work on?
ANSWER: All types from curly to straight to wavy and everything in between.


QUESTION: Does your hair have to be long to wear these?
ANSWER: If you can wear a barrette you can wear these snaps.


QUESTION: Do they hold like a barrette?
ANSWER: Not exactly. They only hold a small portion of hair which is not enough to be considered a barrette.


QUESTION: Can I make my own variety pack?
ANSWER: Absolutely! All you have to do is convo me with the colors you want in your specially designed snap pack and I will make you a special listing.
