Our forte is in storytelling. We capture the special moments of your day. When photographing a wedding, my goal is to create a beautiful record of your wedding day. As a wedding photojournalist my approach is to tell a story from beginning to end, photographing the entire event, including preparations, getting dressed, portraits, ceremony and reception. I work in an unobtrusive way, taking informal, natural portraits and spontaneous candids of you and your guests, in order to capture the emotion and beauty of your wedding day. I love what I do and I think it shows in my work. I have a passion for catching genuine emotion and real human interaction. The end result is pictures that capture the true spirit of your special day. We shoot 600-1200 photographs for an 8 hr. wedding.

Aperture Photography and Imaging serve the enitire Hudson Valley and Capital District. We are avaliable throughout the US and worldwide. Our location is perfect to cover the vast majority of Eastern New York State only 40 minutes to Albany, NY and 1.5 hours from NYC. As a result of being based in the middle of the Hudson Valley a majority of our photography is in the Albany and Capital District region including Saratoga south to NYC. Pougkeepsie, Kingston, Middletown, Newburgh , Rhinebeck, The Catskills, Woodstock, New Paltz, Brewster and Westchester are areas we know well.
