Yes, you hire us and we are the only ones there.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never more than one a day. We sometimes will do more than one in a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We are on an emergency contact list with a professional group.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We bring 3 cameras,tripods,flashes,and monopods.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes....it is a must.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
By collection and you can add on by the hour to your collection
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We usually eat when the bridal party is eating.
Do you charge for travel?
It depends on how far away the event will take us.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
An average of 3-5 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We give them a very nice hardbound library style proof book and post the images to your own private web site.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proof book is theirs to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
You do have the option a getting a CD in your collection.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, we give them a password protected website for them and for all the guests as well.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer a Digital Coffee Table album that my wife designs for them. They give us the numbers they want included in the Album and she designs an elegant and quite remarkable finished album that is one of a kind.
When will the client get the final album?
About 6-8 weeks after you approve the design.
