How many planners do you work with?
I usually work with the bride, groom and their families to gain a vision of the day. Then I speak with all the vendors involved to be sure that no detail has been left undone. I will compile a comprehensive time line, detailed checklists and to do list to share with all parties involved.
What style of wedding do you specialize in planning?
I specialize in "day of" wedding coordination, but I can also assist with finding vendors, creating themes and ideas, as well as ceremony only contracts. Most of my brides tend to live out of the Charlottesville area, but went to school at UVA and want to come back and get married in Charlottesville.
Do you support or cater to any specific religions?
No. I am happy to be involved in all faiths and cultures.
What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past?
I have coordinated wedding from 75 people to 250.
Which venues have you worked at or are familiar with?
I have worked at private homes for tented events as well as the main venues in and around Charlottesville to include King Family, Veritas, First Colony, Kluge, Peter Jefferson and Barboursville Vineyards. I have also worked at the Colonnade Club and Alumni Hall at UVA, Ivy Inn, Glenmore and Farmington Country Club, and Boars Head Inn, including many ceremonies at UVA Chapel and other area churches.
