Frequently Asked Questions
How would you identify your photographic style? Relaxed. My style leans more towards photojournalism because I want my couples to look back at their photos and not think, "Gee, that looks forced," or, "I wished I would have acted more natural." Of course we want to capture those essential formal shots , but they will all feel real and natural rather than stiff and rigid. My goal is to have my couples walk away with something uniquely their own that they can be proud to show to family and friends.
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? My studio offers state of the art photo editing software. Digital touch-ups are available. For folks who are a little adventurous, we can take amazing photos and give them the "wow" factor.
Is your media preference film or digital? My equipment is entirely digital. I shot in the RAW mode to have a greater control over editing to make each shot absolutely perfect.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? In the unlikely event that I would be unable to photograph a wedding due to an act of God, I have a strong network of highly qualified photographers who would be able to step in and make your day as memorable as possible.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Absolutely! Backup camera bodies, lenses, flashes, memory cards, I am always prepared for the unpredictable.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Proofs are viewable online one week following the event on a password protected site.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? All packages include a right to publish release. Although you may use any processing center to print your photos, my studio also provides top of the line professional prints that will withstand the test of time.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple? Absolutely, digital files are provided in all packages to the couple.
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery? A secure online gallery is provided to view and order prints.
