The twin sister duo behind Karson Butler Events specializes in designing weddings that reflect each couple's unique style and personality. Amber Karson and Emily Butler combine fresh, innovative ideas with over a decade of planning experience.

 

Founded by Amber in 2008, Emily joined Karson Butler Events in 2010 and the California-born twins were re-united on Capitol Hill where they both reside. Although they are based in Washington DC, Amber & Emily have planned events in cities across the globe -- from New York, Pebble Beach, New Orleans, London, Montreal, Nassau, Mumbai & New Delhi to name a few!

 

The wedding industry has noticed Karson Butler Events' distinctive style and attention to detail and their work is featured in Southern Living Weddings, Washingtonian Bride & Groom, Engaged!, Southern Weddings and The Knot magazines. Their work has also been on popular weddings sites such as Style Me Pretty, Elizabeth Anne Designs, Ruffled, The Brides Cafe, HGTV.com, Hostess With The Mostess, District Weddings and United with Love.  Last spring, the duo appeared on The Knot's live webshow broadcast from the magazine's NYC headquarters.

 

Named as "One to Watch" in Washingtonian Bride & Groom's list of Top DC Wedding Planners in 2012 & again to the list in 2013, Karson Butler Events is also a member of Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book.
