About
A Family Business offering personal, individual attention to our wedding couples.

Owners, Ron and Christy Shaw have been married for over 35 years, so marriage is an important part of who we are, and we still get excited working with couples who are just beginning their own life-long journey together! We enjoy what we do, and feel extremely privileged to be able to do it as a team. Our own Daughter and one of our Sons were just married in 2008, so we know first-hand the pressures that couples face today in pulling together all the details to make their wedding successful. We hand-picked the very best photographers to shoot our own children’s weddings, and we are happy to report that they are now a permanent part of our photography team.

We stand ready with lots of resouces such as sample timelines, helpful hints, list of the best wedding vendors for cake, videography, florist, etc.  Plus, since we attend many more weddings than you ever will, we are available share the benefits of our experience with you when you call with questions about any ideas you have.

Our number one goal is to help you prepare so that your wedding day flows smoothly with a minimum of surprises. After all, if you are relaxed and fully enjoying your special day, you will smile more, and that makes our photography look so much better!!

Our prices are prominantly posted in detail on our website so you can know exactly what you will get for your investment BEFORE you even talk with us. Please also read the FAQs for answers to questions you have not even thought about yet, but that are extremely important.

Ron is a genuine and fun man. He take great photographs, and has follow up and customer service beyond. I see my brides on their first anniversary to get their anniversary cake, and I always ask them to bring along photo albums. Those who have used Ron tell me that he did wonderful things for them - things that they weren't expecting.
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. Have you ever heard the expression "A picture is worth a thousand words?" Of course you have and this expression is never more true than at a wedding. After all the planning to make sure it's perfect, suddenly it's over, and all that is left are memories. Photos last forever and are there to permanently remind you of that glorious day, your wedding day. It’s no question that you have to have the best professional photographer that will be able to capture all of those magical moments of your wedding so you can relive over and over . Bellevue Bridal believe that is probably no wedding photography working today who can make a bride feel more beautiful, we recommend Always Focused On YOU Photography , our brides are so thankful they can trust on the photographer Row Shaw and his team to capture the irreplaceable memories and special moments, that only the best photographers can capture, his attention to detail in each and every Wedding is evident in the superb Images and Albums supplied to his clients, that give them the chance to cherish and enjoy the wedding photos for the rest their your life.
What can I say? All About You Photography rocks! Ron is one of the finest wedding photographers in the business and is at the top of my "A" list throughout the Puget Sound. And I don't share this lightly. Having officiated at hundreds of weddings, I have worked with many wedding photographers and Ron's work is hugely creative, inspired, gorgeous and he has a knack for capturing sweet and stolen moments on a wedding day. In fact, Ron took a photo at one of my weddings in Woodinville that is one of the most special mementos in my keepsake album. Annemarie Juhlian, Seattle Wedding Officiant

Frequently Asked Questions
How would you identify your photographic style?
Hundreds of Candid photos from multiple angles of the entire day, from beginning to end. We try to get pictures of EVERYONE who attends. We are happy to shoot group photos and work from Bride's Shot List.
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We have college training in Advanced Photoshop Enhancement techniques. We offer ALL the special touches. Every photo we offer is available in Color, B/W, or Sepia at no additional charge.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
MOST IMPORTANT: We do NOT shoot with camera FLASH during the ceremony (it distracts and annoys your family and guests). Our top-of-the-line NIKON cameras are able to take fantastic photos in ANY lighting situation. PLUS, we shoot in RAW format which allows us to refine the image and make any necessary adjustments.
Is your media preference film or digital?
100% Digital because shooting in DIGITAL RAW gives us much more ability to create sharper, more vibrant images with a full range of color hues.
How many photographers do you work with?
We have a team of 4 photographers: My wife and I as well as the two professionals who shot our own children's weddings when they got married in 2008.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
With 4 photographers, we have it covered, even if one of us became sick or injured. Plus we network with 6 other studios who will cover for us if needed. (These are the studios we recommend if we are already booked for a specific date.)
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend?
Our staff members are only booked for one wedding per weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
With 4 photographers, we have it covered, even if one of us became sick or injured. Plus we network with 6 other studios who will cover for us if needed. (These are the studios we recommend if we are already booked for a specific date.)
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We come fully equipped for any and all situations. We also bring an EMERGENCY KIT for the wedding party with sewing kit, Fabric Stain Remover, deodorant, a spare garter and tuxedo studs, feminine sanitary supplies, hair pins, shoe polish and extra laces and spare socks, plus dozens of other items that might just "save the day" when suddenly needed.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
We have extra "back-up" equipment for all our vital needs (ie. 5 cameras for 4 photographers, extra flash units. etc).
Do you charge hourly or full day?
While the majority of our packages are "All-Day, No Time Limit" we do offer a few hourly packages for smaller weddings at a reduced rate.
If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
We are available for overtime. Rate is determined at contract signing.
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
With all day coverage, we need to eat to keep our strength up. It has been our experience that the wedding couple wants to make sure we are fed. We are happy with Vendor Meals provided by many venues to keep the price down for the wedding family.
How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
We have a team of photographers and we rotate breaks so someone is always "on-duty". I make sure my team members take a break every 2 hours.
Do you charge for travel?
We serve the I-5 corridor from Bellingham to Olympia with no charge for travel. We are willing to travel to multiple locations on the wedding day for no extra charge. (If travel exceeds 30 miles, we do have a minimal charge for extra miles from location to location).
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We deliver proofs in 2 to 4 weeks after wedding date.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We provide a CD-ROM of all the images in computer viewing resolution. Proof prints are available as an option.
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
The couple can keep the proofs permanently.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We issue the wedding couple a License to make as many copies of the images as they want from any photo processor they choose. We reserve the right to SELL the images or prints.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
YES, the couple receives the digital file (negatives) for all their pictures in jpeg form on a 24 kt gold CD-ROM (guaranteed not to tarnish for 300yrs.)
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
YES. Online gallery is password protected and will be available to wedding couple and their family and guests for a minimum of 6 months after the wedding.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer magazine style "coffee table", as well as Permamount ("Flushmount"), and more traditional Matted Albums.
When will I get the final book?
Soon after the client gives us their selection of "Favorites" to be included in the album.
How long does it take to deliver a book?
Design and construction of wedding albums varies with type and can take anywhere from 4 to 16 weeks depending on complexity. After all, we do NOT want to rush this to just "get it done". We pride ourselves in our "attention to detail". This album will be treasured for generations, let's take the time and energy to make sure it is perfect.

Additional Questions and Answers
We SPECIALIZE in weddings. That is all we do. This gives us more time to pay attention to the individual needs of our clients. Long before your wedding, we work with you closely and listen very carefully to get to know you as a Bride and Groom and discover “who you are”. We don’t want to try to impose some artificial fairy tale “look” on your wedding, after all, this isn't a performance and you aren't actors. Rather, we strive to capture the unique, genuine character of you as a couple, as you join to share the rest of your lives together. Each album we create has a unique look that sets it apart from all the other couples. When you and your friends view it, we want you to feel like we captured perfectly the essence of who you are.

Our other main goal: to get candid photos of absolutely everyone who attends your wedding, if they were important enough for you to invite, then we want you to have pictures of them. Sometimes the only pictures you have of some relatives are the ones from family events, such as weddings.  Even though most of these photos won’t make it into an album, we will make sure you get them on a CD.
