Tips and Advice
Here are a few tips that we came up with to help you in your planning and to make your day perfect.

01. We're currently being booked 12 to 18 months in advance. Be sure to book early. Check our availabilty for your date on our calendars.

02. Ensure you get along well and feel comfortable with your photographer; you're placing a lot of trust in them. Sometimes they can make or break your wedding day.

03. Allow enough time for your formal photos either before or between the ceremony and the reception. We hear comments all the time that we're quite fast at shooting the formal portraits, but be sure to allow enough time. This is a one time event and you can't go back to reshoot it.

04. We'll meet to discuss the photography timeline before your wedding day so that we're aware of how the day will unfold. We'll act as an event planner as needed to keep the day moving while trying to be as unobtrusive as possible.

05. Ensure your ceremony and reception sites have wet weather back up plans. Minnesota's weather has hardly been predictable.

06. Even if your budget is limited, consider the value of each aspect of your wedding. We believe photography is not the area to save money. We offer all inclusive packages and a la carte pricing to best suit your needs. If you want to book by the hour and consider albums after the wedding, we can adapt to your desires.

07. If assigning seating at the reception, consider where you want your photographer seated. If placed way in the back behind a pillar, we may miss a shot when trying to get to the action.

08. We unfortunately don't know your whole wedding party or family (as hard as we try). Assigning a friend to be a photo assistant that knows most of your participants will help things go smoothly.

09. Don't stress out on the little things on your wedding day. We always say that no matter how hard you try to make your day go perfectly, it rarely does. You may know that your cake isn't what you ordered, but your guests don't. They'll think it was just as you planned it and will rave how beautiful it is.

10. HAVE FUN! The more relaxed you are, the better your photos will turn out.
