Do you have liability insurance?
Describe your DJ style:
We are low key DJs, as the focus of the day should be on you, not us. During dance time, we like to keep the energy high by mixing the music so everyone will want to party.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
No, but there is a certain amount of music that we can play. With the help of online planning, you can organize what songs are most important to you, that way we make sure to play it during your event.
What is your usual attire?
We like to match your wedding style, whether it is a black tie affair or just a rustic, low-key event. We don't want to stand out from your guests like a sore thumb.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We purchase all the music we need to make the event run perfectly, unless certain songs cannot be found (as some tracks are not officially released).
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 26 DJs that work for us.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
We have a 3 hour minimum for wedding receptions.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes. We don't want to just give you 'someone', we want to make sure you 'click' with your DJ.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Yes. Several of our DJs travel the world, collecting music that keeps us up to date for our ethnic and international events.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Please do! We want to make sure we don't see a sad face on our clients.
Do you bring your own equipment?
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Uplighting and intelligent dance lighting can be added to our contracts. With uplighting, we customize and match our colors for each event.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We arrive 1 1/2 to 2 hours before our start time. We require 2 six-foot tables.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No, we don't advertise at our events. It's just not cool.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We will take care of all the necessary announcements. We do not announce each song. We prefer to mix the music rather than talk about it.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We always read the crowd to make sure that the song choices keep a packed dance floor. We don't like to tell people to dance or teach them line dances.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We do not take breaks. We do require a meal, but we eat when the meal service occurs, and not while we have to take care of certain events (toasts, etc.).
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We have backup DJs waiting in our office with paperwork and music ready to go in case of an emergency.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
We do not book ourselves on more than one event a day.
What is your overtime rate?
Our overtime rate is the hourly rate of the contract.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Yes, travel fees will be applied to events outside an hour of travel from our office in Hanover, MD. Our rates are $100 for each additional hour of travel.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We require 50% deposit to lock us in for your event.

Please contact us and make an appointment as soon as possible after setting your event date and location. Our DJs are very high in demand, and are usually booked more than 10 months before their events, with DJs being personally requested by multiple clients for the same dates. We try to accomodate clients that are last-minute to the best of our ability.
