A Sound Choice Entertainment	A Sound Choice Entertainment has been a preferred vendor at the Abernethy Center since 2005 and preforms over twenty events a year at the center. The Abernethy center is a gorgeous facility with two venues on the property. Both Abigail's Garden and the Veiled Garden are perfect venues to have the wedding of your dreams. The professional staff at the center is well trained and ready to jump in and help. I am always greeted with a smile and time line for your big day. The Radiant Touch	A Fairy Tale Wedding! My clients have been so happy with the service they've received at Abernethy Center. I personally love to perform weddings there. The staff is always professional and organized so that the event goes off without a hitch from the planning, to the rehearsal to the reception. The gardens are enchanting. The smaller Veiled Garden is perfect for a wooded ceremony in a beautiful gazebo with a babbling brook beside it. The Abigail's Garden can accomodate a small to a huge wedding with the reception right there in the huge tent with a dance floor, twinkle lights, bar and buffet. You just can't go wrong with the Abernethy Center.
Aaronstadt Studios Photography	We have photographed many, many events in both the Veiled Garden and in Abigail's Garden and it is always a wonderful place to work. The coordinators and the staff are friendly and easy to work with. This is a 'Bride Friendly" venue for sure, working to make the clients wedding day an incredible experience. Both locations (Veiled and Abigail's Gardens) are immaculately kept up and beautiful locations to work.

Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture? Abigail's Garden is a beautiful Outdoor Ceremony & Recption site with classic white gazebo, creek, and 3.5 acres of garden lawn for your guests. Our Veiled Garden provides and intimate, secluded outdoor ceremony garden that is combined with our elegant ballroom for the reception. The ballroom is equipped with adjustable lighting, built in screen & projector along with column color wash and an adjacent outdoor patio providing you with both indoor/ outddor accessibility.

How many people does the space *comfortably* accommodate? 300 in each location

How does your venue determine the cost of the space? We have a set fee for the site rental, and then the catering is per head based on your final guest count.

Do you offer any special services? We do offer "Day of" coordination services as well as special decor rentals.

Do you offer an on-site wedding consultant? Yes

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony? Unity table, shepards hooks and other misc. items

Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware? Tables, chairs and the dance floor are included in the site rental, and the linens, flatware & glassware are all included in the catering packages

Do you require brides to use a specific list of vendors? No, but we do have a wonderful list of prefered vendors that we highly recommend.

Do you require the wedding party to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is there an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians? NO

Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion? NO

Do you have cooking facilities? Yes, for our Chef & staff only

Do you provide your own catering? If yes, can a bride opt to use an outside caterer if she prefers? Abernethy Center employs our own Chef, servers, bartenders and waitstaff. We are the exclusive on-site caterers.

Do you have a liquor license? Yes

Can the bride provide her own alcohol if desired? NO

How many power outlets does the venue have? More than enough in each ceremony and reception location

What restrictions are there (if any) on decorations? No rice, confetti, birdseed, glitter or sparklers

What restrictions are there (if any) on photography? None

If your site is in a public location, is the couple required to get any permits? No

Does your venue often accommodate more than one wedding at a time? Yes, we do have 2 locations but the are no next to each other and each has its own designated parking, bidal & groom's rooms, servers, staff etc.

Do you offer security, if requested? Yes

What is your dress code? None

Can you provide a coat check? There is a formal coat check in the Ballroom, you can choose to provide an attendant or Abernethy Center will provide one for a nominal fee.
