Welcome to our wedding website and thank you for stopping by! Here we will keep updated about how the wedding plans are coming along, what we’re getting done, and anything you else you may need to know!

June 3:  Things are moving along, nothing specific to really update about.  Put the down payment down for the Empire Room.  Decided on food for the rehearsal dinner as well as the reception.  I think the meals are going to be fabulous, so make sure you come hungry!  We've been wine tasting to figure out which wines we like best to serve at the reception.  I've picked out our unity candle set, cake cutting set, toasting glass set, and a tiara.  I ordered and have received the invitations, response cards, and thank you notes.  The invitations are currently with the calligrapher being addressed and I expect to have them out by July 1st.  Basically, little things are starting to come together.

Next week, I'll be meeting with a potential officiant and some potential DJs for the reception. :) ~Jena

April 22: Today I went and picked up our wedding bands from the jewelry store!  One more thing off the list!  They look great and I can't wait to start wearing mine! ~Jena

April 20: Decided on a photographer for the wedding today!  Her name is Michelle Gunton, you can check out her wedding website here.  I think that I'm really going to like the way that the pictures turn out!  The invitations have been proofed and ordered today as well.  Next on my list, picking out the food and who will do the music. Hope you're all having a wonderful spring so far!

April 15: As it turns out, The Empire Room is not going out of business after all!  So, the wedding ceremony and reception will both be hosted there.  Yesterday I designed and confirmed the wedding cake with Doris Tilley (a wonderful woman recommended by three different people).  Today I am ordering invitations, they will probably be sent out in the beginning to middle of July.  My next tasks are to work on food, photography, and music!  I'll keep you all updated! ~Jena

March 15: I've officially picked up my wedding dress from David's Bridal!  It's so surreal...it's hanging in my closet!  Also, all of the bridesmaids have ordered their dresses.  Today, Andrew and I went and looked at wedding bands and we've pretty much decided on what we want to get.  We're waiting on estimates to come back and then we're going to go ahead and purchase them.  And tomorrow, Amanda (MOH) and I will be going to cake taste at Maxie B's!  Things are coming along nicely!

I do have some bad news, though.  We found out that we're going to have to move where the wedding ceremony/reception will be held.  So I've started compiling some possibilities, but no definite decisions have been made yet.  I'll keep everyone updated! ~Jena

March 1: Today I completely compiled the guest list (well, potential guest list) and ordered samples of wedding invitations that I like! I’m feeling really accomplished! It’s amazing to see this coming together...especially since I really don’t know what I’m doing! ~Jena

February 16: Sent out the save the date cards!

February 15: We went to David’s Bridal today and bought Jena’s wedding dress!
